SHACMAN is the export arm of Shaanxi Automobile Group — the second-largest heavy-truck manufacturer in China by export volume.

Sixty years on, we still build trucks the same way: heavy-duty first, comfort second, intelligence third — and never the other way around.

Our trucks move mining tonnes through Andean passes, fuel through Saharan desert, container loads through European TIR corridors, and city refuse through Jakarta’s monsoon. They are the unspectacular vehicles behind the spectacular logistics.

We do not sell the dream of trucking. We sell the truck.

We refuse to flatten the truck market into one product. Different missions need different commitments — quality, comfort, or intelligence. We build all three; you pick the one your route demands.

01Quality

The road tells the truth.

Every chassis ships with the same 12-million-kilometre validation behind it. Roads break trucks before salesmen do — so we let the road decide.

The driver is the system.

Drivers run our trucks 12 hours a day. The cabin is the warranty. Acoustic seals, suspended seats, sleeper bunks — built for the people who keep loads moving.

From a state-plan military factory in 1968 to the second-largest heavy-truck exporter in 2026 — the events that shaped the company.

    Founded

    Shaanxi Automobile Group established under Mao-era industrial plan; first SX250 military truck.

  2. 1984

    Civil pivot

    First commercial heavy-duty truck rolls off Xi'an line — the SX251.

  3. 2002

    MAN partnership

    Strategic agreement with MAN Truck & Bus introduces F2000 platform technology.

  4. 2010

    F3000 launch

    Export-grade platform debuts; rapid scale across Africa and Middle East.

  5. 2015

    X3000 generation

    First fully Shacman-engineered cab; 12M km road validation programme.

  6. 2018

    X6000 program

    Premium platform development begins — AMT-only, AI-CARE telematics, S-Pilot.

  7. 2022

    EURO V certified

    X6000 receives ECE-R29-03 + 150,000 km failure-free certification.

  8. 2024

    200k capacity

    Combined Xi'an + KD assembly capacity passes 200,000 units / year.

  9. 2026

    S-Pilot L4

    L4 highway autonomy enters production on X6000 flagship.
